Daniel Takes Uncle Brian to the Zoo

Daniel and I decided to enjoy the beautiful weather today by taking Uncle Brian to the zoo! We had lots of fun and we were quite busy while we were there. Daniel walked a LOT and he was such a good boy the whole time, as always. We got there before lunch time and left around 3:30- we were there almost 4 hours, which is a long time for us, but we were having so much fun. Daniel had fun petting the goats this time- though one big goat kind of got in his face, which made him a little hesitant after that, but he did great and still tried to pet other goats if they were still enough. He loved getting up close to the fences in the Children's Zoo and looking in at the animals- don't worry, the animals weren't anywhere near the fences. The bears were all mostly in the shade and therefore pretty out of sight because of the way the new exhibits are set up, but we did see the polar bear jump in his pool and make quite a splash. We ended our fantastic day at the zoo with a dolphin show! Daniel's 1st dolphin show! He had fun- I think he was most excited to clap when all the people clapped. He watched the dolphins when they jumped and then he signed for more, of course. Oh, and he was also busy chomping on his fingers- those canine teeth are giving us a run for our money this week! After our busy afternoon at the zoo, Daniel fell asleep just as we pulled out of the parking lot- no surprise there...he sure was Tired! Thanks, Uncle Brian, for coming with us! We had a lot of fun.

Aunt Christina and Grandma Mary Kay...when can we go again with you???!!! We love taking people to the zoo with us!
