Wow...2 months old already! I really can't believe how time flies- and I know I keep saying that! We took Daniel's monthly picture with Mickey today. We tried to have him sit in Mickey's lap like last month...he was clearly uncomfortable (see top picture)...but it was sure funny to try- he and Mickey both kept falling over! So, we finally sat him up next to his pal Mickey and he actually sat there pretty well on his own. Daniel is so alert these days. He's awake 2 or 3 times a day for a few hours (2-4 hours) at a time- it's so cute to see him so awake. And just this past week- he's smiling so much more...even in response to people talking to him. Daniel sleeps well at night in his bassinet- still getting up every 2 hours or so for feedings, but once in a while we get three or even five hours of sleep! He does really well with tub baths now, too- not a single cry the other night when we bathed him- he was sooo good; it was so cute how alert and how good he was while we washed him up. Daniel's eyes follow me around the room when he's in his bouncer- that's cute to watch. And he's doing well with holding his head up and moving it from side to side when we're holding him- he's getting so strong. I'm anxious to go to the doctor next week and see how big he is now! Not so anxious for those shots however...
