Each day this week Daniel got stronger and stronger at standing and walking!
Step by step...more and more steps each time!
Last night, Friday November 20th, Daniel did the most walking I had yet to see! So exciting!
He just kept walking and walking... for about a good five feet, too!

And today was even better! Daniel had quite the audience, too.
Grandma Cheryl came to visit and so did Uncle Brian, Aunt Christina, and Jason. Perfect timing!
Daniel happily showed off his new skills for them...and then, he even topped walking...by standing up all by himself without pulling up on anything! We had yet to see him do this, though we knew it was literally any minute now- he'd really been trying to stand up all yesterday and all this morning. How exciting that he did it with so many lucky people to witness it, too.

So, it's been quite a week in our house! Ben's "Monday" theory is still going strong- Daniel started really doing a LOT of standing on Monday. You could tell he was really thinking about walking and really getting ready. We went to a place called Monkey Bizness, which is a fun indoor playground type of place. Daniel had a lot of fun crawling around on the giant foam shapes and watching the other kids. It was nice to get out and see a new place. Daniel would pull up on the foam shapes and then let go and just stand there for the longest time. Then that continued all week, as he let go of his car, or the couch, or his boxes that he pushes around. He even stood there and took bites out of a cookie one evening. Each day, he'd stand a little longer than before. And by mid-week he was stepping three or four steps, then five or six steps, and now he's walking by the yards! It was such fun to watch and as I look back on the week, I am simply amazed at how quickly it all happened! I can't believe my baby is toddling around. He is the most adorable toddling baby!
