Messy, Dirty Fun in the Yard

What a strong boy, carrying TWO (empty) buckets!

Splashing in puddles on our deck with Grandma!

Helping Grandma hold up a board

Digging in the dirt

Daniel checks out a worm- icky!
After he touched this one, he stayed away from the rest of them!

More fun digging in the dirt

Daniel helps Grandpa put dirt chunks in the bucket

Daddy and Grandpa Larry were hard at work in our yard yesterday putting up the lattice around the base of our deck, and of course Daniel was right there helping them out! He sure got messy and didn't mind a bit. It was a great time to have fun, explore the dirt, check out the worms (with Grandpa's help- and no, Daniel was not too interested in them- thank goodness!!), splash in puddles (with Grandma's encouragement- Daniel loved this!), and watch and help "Pa" and Daddy.

PS- Don't mind the clashing shoes Daniel is wearing! He picked them out, actually. And quite frankly, I didn't mind because they're a little small already and they cost all of two bucks, so they're the perfect muddy day shoes really!
