Last week, we grabbed the chance to take Grandma Mary Kay to the zoo before she went back to school this week. We had a great day. We were there almost 4 hours- with Daniel pretty much walking 95% of the time. And even with all that, he didn't fall right asleep in the car like usual- what's up with that?? Anyway, it was rather warm that day and since Daniel didn't sit in the stroller much, we took the chance to cool off in several buildings, many of which were new to Daniel. So that was fun. We also went on the carousel and Grandma treated us to a dolphin show. Daniel sat pretty well for that- as well as can be expected for an active toddler- and he loved when the dolphins did their tricks. We really walked all over and still didn't see the entire zoo...but I'm sure we'll be back! Thanks for a great day, Grandma!
