Happy Birthday, Daddy! We had a nice day out & about celebrating at lunch and then enjoying some fresh air at an outdoor mall nearby. We went to Red Robin for lunch with Grandma Mary Kay and Grandpa Larry. Daniel got a balloon there and had fun with that all day. He actually said "ba" every time he played with it, too. They gave Daniel a kids activity menu and crayons- he wasn't interested in these at all, which wasn't too surprising. Daniel also got to help Daddy open his gifts. He especially liked the wrapping paper- he put it on the floor and danced on it! I think the first picture here is so sweet- Daniel on Daddy's lap reading the card and looking so attentive and sitting so still. Let me tell you though, it didn't last long! Daniel is a very busy on-the-go baby! Oh- and Daniel has been very clearly saying da-da lately. It used to be more of a "dadadadada" and now he clearly just says da-da. (I'm mamama- sometimes.) It was fun to have some all-day Daddy time to celebrate today!
