It started with Thursday's Wiggles & Giggles- and Daddy wanted to come with us this time! What fun we had. It was really cute to see Daddy and Daniel interacting with all the toys and equipment. Ben was a little afraid that Daniel might cling to him there, since he clings to Daddy at home a lot, but I wasn't worried since there's so much to do there and sure enough, Daniel had a ball and he was very busy, as usual. Daddy played with him a lot and helped him when he needed it of course, but Daniel was just his playful self the whole time!
Looking adorable in the rocking fish!
Daddy pushes Daniel around on the tricycle...
which of course Daniel is really too small for.

Our lil' guy scores a point!
It's quite cute to watch Daniel "play" basketball since he's so small.

I love this picture...you get a real sense of just how small Daniel is...
and just how much he looks up to his Daddy.
and just how much he looks up to his Daddy.
Daniel's latest trick...trying to throw the ball up in the air like Mommy does.
This is how it looks when he tries- head thrown back and the ball just kind of gets flung out. Too funny!

Friday, Aunt Christina came over to play for a while after lunch and we had a blast! She chased Daniel, they made towers and knocked them over, we played in the basement, and even ate cookies. Daniel also managed to cut his finger on something (we're not sure what) and it was a pretty good sized cut, so we put a band-aid on him. You can see what he thought of that below (and no- the cut isn't what bothered him, he didn't cry about that at all!).
A sweet picture of Daniel and his aunt.
Daniel knocks down Aunt Christina's tower.
High speed chasing around the house...
And Daniel tricks Aunt Christina and escapes!
Daniel's 1st band-aid- poor little guy.
Saturday we went to Grandma Cheryl's house to play in the afternoon and Daniel eagerly checked out the "new" old toys there- a Fisher Price barn and animals, and a toy picnic basket and play food. Daniel had fun with all of it and we had a nice visit.
Funny story of the week- Daniel was eating a graham cracker snack while we were at Grandma Cheryl's house, and he put a piece down on the floor which the dog promptly ate up of course. Well, let me tell you...Daniel kept looking and looking and looking for his cracker- he was soooo confused. He kept putting his hands out in the "where?" gesture and even almost said "where" too- it came out like "whe". It was pretty funny and we were all laughing. I tried to get him to move on with a new piece, but he really just kept looking until he got bored of looking.
Whew...that's a lot of playing! But we sure had fun!
