Happy Birthday, Daddy! We love you SO much!
Daniel was very excited to celebrate Daddy's birthday today. He's been waiting and waiting all weekend to help Daddy rip open his presents. Last night, we told him he had to wait until it was morning time, when he woke up, when the sun came back, and sure enough, during breakfast, Daniel was quick to look out the window and announce that "sun came back, NOW rip presents". And as you can see from the pictures below, Ben was very much a spectator in his own birthday! Daniel sure took over the unwrapping! But it was so much fun and Daddy sure didn't mind.
After lunch, Daniel helped me make peanut butter banana bread (it turned out really yummy!) and as usual, he was very excited to help me "make something" by helping with the mixing, mashing, and dumping. He looks so proud of himself in the picture below! He's such a good helper in the kitchen. I LOVE it!
