After getting Daniel's haircut Tuesday morning, we spent the rest of the day wandering the Magic Kingdom. This was Daniel's 2nd visit to the Magic Kingdom, and it was so much fun to see what Daniel noticed this time around. Last time he was just five months old and this time he was 15 months old- what a difference! Daniel was sure enjoying looking all around and taking it all in. He was particularly keen on walking any chance he got and pretty much walking only where he wanted to walk, not really with us so much- who can blame him! The park was pretty busy, so we didn't get to ride as many rides as we would have liked. We did ride the Pirates of the Caribbean ride- Daniel really took that in. I wanted to take him on It's a Small World again- I knew he would love that music, he did the last time, but we really didn't want to wait in that looooong line. So we rode on the train that goes all around the perimeter of the park and the people mover and just walked around a bit. Daniel needed a nap by mid-afternoon. He fell asleep while we were waiting for the bus back to the hotel and then proceeded to keep sleeping in bed at the hotel for another hour. What a good boy. It was COLD on Tuesday (note the jackets we're all wearing!) and Tuesday night was super cold (were we in Florida or not?!), so we bundled up before we headed out to Hollywood Studios to see the Christmas lights there. Daniel LOVED the lights and music and we just had the most enjoyable time walking up and down the street there and looking at all the lights and watching the light shows. It was beautiful! We went on The Great Movie Ride and then headed back to the hotel for the night.
Oh...and yes, you'll see that the stroller is pink. We borrowed Aunt Wendy's stroller, which she got from a friend who didn't need it anymore, so that anytime we visited we would have a stroller waiting for us- this was so sweet and thoughtful. And I have to say it was wonderful not to have to bring our own stroller on the airplane- so this was a big help, even if it was pink! So, thank you very much, Aunt Wendy!
