I mentioned before how silly and playful Daniel was yesterday. Here's an example of Daniel's silliness! Daniel found his winter hat (it's a monkey face hat) in his car seat by the front door where we keep it with his coat so it's easy to find and ready to go. He immediately gave it to me and stood there ready for me to put it on. He never wants us to put it on when it should be put on- so this was certainly curious behavior! (Although he is getting better about wearing it when we're out- he just doesn't love it.) He walked all around the house with that hat on for quite some time- it was too funny. And then when he did take it off, he kept trying to put it back on, which you can see in the bottom picture.
Daniel has also been carrying his lion around the house more lately. I think it must comfort him, with all the tooth-making and fever fighting that he's been doing this week. It's sweet that he likes his lion so much. In the second picture, he put the lion on the footstool and then proceeded to roll the footstool, as if giving the lion a ride.
